Good stuff, really like #2. I like the folage coloring OF. For me I would crop the right side tighter.

What equipment settings? "JR"

Good job! I found them to be more difficult to photo than humming birds but you did very well. What is your lens?

It was a partly sunny day. When I shot this one it was cloudy so I had to up some of the settings:
ISO 2000
420mm
F 7.1
I/1250

I was using a Canon 300 f4 with the 1.4 III extender.

Remember Dragonflies usually land in the same position,in the same place - move your position and pre focus - you can also (sometimes) get them to stay long enough to stack focus.

Very nice images! I like your NC dragonflies better than our NJ ones. Ours don't seem to pose as well!

That is what these did. I sat in one spot for about an hour and just watched them.

Nice shots ! Dragonflies always challenging. I am now using 420 and 600mm !
