I bought an every day carry to work camera..Olympus xz-2..as it has remote socket...and can interface with the same timer I use on my 5D3.
Was in hospital for a few nights with broken arm..had camera..could not sleepand happend to be up to catch this from the hospital ward day room.
still not got the hang of removing the flicker in LRTimelapse..but its is an attempt if nothing else.
Can't seem to attach video here..is it me? so here is Youtube link

What a beautiful sunrise you shot! Nicely done.
Ah ..thought it was me.
Thanks for that sunshooter. Unfortunately I was only in that place for one nigh, so had to rely on the iPhone, TPE and built in compass.
That ended up with the alignment being out in relation to where the sun appeared.
Also my tripod did not allow battery change while mounted..so as soon as ack goes flat that is it. Still got got the hang of Holy Grail' method of using LRTimelapse to get clean exposure changes without brightness jumps
I have a phone app that is just as fun. Thank you!

NeilP, great time lapse, hope the staff get to see what can be done from a hospital bed. Cheers, Nancy J
I am using LRTimelapse and Lightroom.
I am using th free version of LRT so limited to 400 frames. I can't justify 100 euro or more on software foe a bit of playing
