All mission churches have bells. Church bells are used for many purposes, and they mean differentt things to many people. These bells meant many things to Lord Alfred Tennyson, as explored by him in his many writings on the subject.

I love the water color of the bell tower. Seems apropos to Tennyson. I struggle with the scenery to the right and how it works with the mission & tower.

Thank you. The scenery to the right is what is there. Seemed to work well for me when I was making this piece. Maybe a bit of a distraction?

Thank you for your kind words. Years ago I did a card line that turned out to be much more work, than fun or profit. Now many of my works can be purchased as cards on fineartamerica.com, where I have in fact sold a number.
