Hi,
I'm Dodie and I live in Fayetteville, NC with my one dog, 23 (yes, that is twenty three) cats, 6 birds and 1 fish tank. As you can guess I have too many hobbies since I have 2 motorcycles and just started riding a bicycle for exercise. I am currently using a Nikon D7000 that I am always learning something new about. Coming from a Nikon FA film camera, digital has been a real challenge.
I have been reading your articles and viewing your pics for about a month now and have really enjoyed each and every one and I look forward to the next day's arrival. I know I'll have some questions and thanks for all I have learned and will learn in the coming days.

Welcome to the UHH Dodie. If your picture of Max is from your D7000 then you seem to be meeting the challenge. Hope nothing bad happened to Max. Handsome fellow he is.Post some more of your menagerie.

I adopted Max and his sister Lilah (both Manxes) from the local kill shelter in the spring of 2012. In September 2012 I had to have him put to sleep. Cancer. But in that short period of time he was so loving and sweet that he took the number 2 spot of my best pets list. I have had many pets but he was really something. Lilah is very sweet but she doesn't have his personality. I had Max cremated and his ashes are on my desk; he's always there to talk to.
