:( :shock: :thumbdown: just got out of the regular hospital 2 weeks ago for complications from diabetes. wounds are not healing as well as they should. be back in tomorrow am. but thanks to being blessed with a used laptop, I will be able to catch up on then hog. need lots of prayers!

You are in my prayers my friend. Please make sure you do every thing the doctors say. I lost a son to the complications of type 1 diabetes 5 years ago. A beautiful life cut far too short.

My dad had the same proublem with his big toe. He lived in Clearwater at then time. He used to send me photos of the wound. It finaly got better itself. But he had a bad heart. He moved up with us till he died with his third heart attack. He was just one day short of his 80th birthday. Im 83 and still kicking. I used to stick my finger every day but now only once in a while. Dont take any meds for it but sort of watch my diet. If I start getting high readings I then stick to my diet. The Doc says I have the heart of a teenager. I just hope he dont want it back. Dont mess with that toe. Its better to lose it than your life. A friend of my wife had her toe removed and never had any trouble after that she passed away years later of old age at 99. Will keep you in my prayers my friend.

thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers. they mean the world to me. they are scheduled to tke my toe tis afternoon. looking forward to going home. f course I keep finding interesting subjects to photograph but no camera
