She agreed to sit for me so as I could learn more on the lights and also to do a location shoot later. I cant thank her enough for putting up with me.....

You are really starting to get the hang of this but do you think that your main light is just a little bit too harsh perhaps? I don't know.

Could be I've lightened the centre too much in PP in retrospect... was after drawing the eyes into the eye....

that is a really nice photo. If I was going to nit pick I would say you should change the background, her hair blends right into it and fades away.
I like the lighting

Maybe more on the rim light to seperate in future when I shoot black background and dark hair, I do have just a alight separation on the original but wanted to concentrate just on the facial features so burnt it in,,

Disclaimer: I have no technical experience with this type of photo.

I think you did a good job on the lighting, I am wondering if you PP'ed her teeth and eye whites a tiny bit more than would be natural. Also the white from her top somewhat draws the eyes away from her face.

I didn't touch the eye whites or teeth they are as is the Iris was sharpened and the lips but on a very small brush with hopefully no overlap.

Am trying hard to get it right.. so hopefully that's showing in the photos.. Just need more experience with the lighting and playing around with reflectors... :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:
