I use a Fotodiox 6"x8" Softbox, about $15:

Checkout the Rapid box by wescott. Uses a speed light and have used it and it is a really great product.

I have two of the ones Nikonian mentioned. They are cheap, and work well.

What are the 'face' dimensions of a LumiQuest Softbox LQ-107? Is the illumination even, corner to corner? I like the shape around the lens.

I have a 24" Strobies softbox that looks similar.
Works great, only drawback is I can't seem to fold it back down to the size I got it!

Here is a review of the Q box and Lastolite:

I also use an old Plume Wafer 20x30". I get better coverage and softer light with the larger size. I adapted the speed ring to take a speedlight using an L bracket from the hardware store.

I really like the design of the Wescott Rapid boxes referenced above.

Portrait softbox is a completely different piece of equipment. The ones pictured above are primarily for macro-photography. Sorry!

I also own the LumiQuest LTP, which is only suitable for off-camera work.

Above that, I've got Apollo, Chimera and Cowboy Studio full sized softboxes. Much bigger $$$.
