the slab hut was a house originally built 40k outside of Orbost Victoria Australia in 1872,and after many different owners over the years,was through the Historical Society of Orbost and the Local Council,was removed and numbered piece by piece, then re-built in town in approx 1984,
It is now our Information Centre, and staffed by volunteers,and even though it now has electric etc it shows what it was like to live all those years ago.
