Five days after they said I would have to wait 6-8 weeks, I received the "Prepaid Reward" card for $300 from Canon. There is a catch, though - a time limit. I have to use it by November of 2021. That shouldn't be a problem.

Although it is a Reward Card, I have to specify Credit Card when I use it. It is accepted any place Amex is accepted.

I also received it within a month. Used it for Verizon bill as I hate to keep track how much is left on the card.

There was a lengthy discussion here a couple of weeks ago about a $399 Canon Pro-100 printer with a $300 rebate. I couldn't resist. I got the 13 x 19" paper and the printer for $99.

Does anyone know if the rebate is good if printer is purchased on Amazon? I live in Hawaii and the shipping is NOT free (or even discounted)at B&H and Adorama. The checkout shipping cost is $155 . The Canon site printer price is $500 with low shipping cost. At Amazon I can get both low printer cost and low shipping.(These type of 'extra' costs are sometimes called the "Paradise Tax"in Hawaii.)

This is a Canon rebate, so it shouldn't matter - as long as it's an authorized dealer. The rebate card I got says, "Canon $300," with the Amex logo in the corner.

EDIT: It looks like that was a special B&H deal. Otherwise, the rebate is only $100 for the printer and the paper.

I answered my own question: I asked Canon. They said to look for the rebate offer within the product listing. I went on Amazon, looked thru various offers 'till I found one with the rebate, and bought it, with FREE shipping. Happy!

Good deal. I love free shipping. I had to pay tax to B&H, but no shipping.
