These are some of my captures of various nature. I especially enjoy shooting landscape and sunsets, although I do enjoy animals. :thumbup:

They appear to lack a lot of contrast and the water is flowing sideways instead of straight down

Sideways? The top photo and the one under it are the same exact photo, only with a different shutter speed, Contrast is because of the download to this site. Original photos have very good contrast. Captured with Nikon D-3100 using the fully automatic setting with the exception of shutter speed.

Missing the point, sorry, water runs vertical, even taking into account perspective the water is "slanting/sloping" to the left

Photochingon, sorry that you got introduced to the site dealing with JR1. Besides his smarmy comments he is known for begging folks to let him edit their photos. By the way, unless someone asks for critique (which you did not) they should not receive negative remarks. JR1 knows this rule.
The great majority of us are not like JR. 8-)
