I think you all should look up and compare Presidential spending and number of vacation days. You will be unpleasently surprised at the results.

What a surprise! I guess Clinton didn't count BJ's in the Oval Office as vacations.

Well, imagine if he returned to his native Chicago. He'd be stuck enjoying the great cuisine of his home city, the lake shore, the museums. For goodness sakes, I can't imagine Michelle eating Gino's pizza!!!

maybe we could also persuade him to take a stroll through the midtown areas at night?

Former First Lady Nancy Reagan said it best: “Presidents don’t get vacations — they just get a change of scenery. The job goes with you.”

The Reagan’s visited their ranch three times a year costing taxpayers 8 million dollars per year.

No need When he leaves office he will be a multy millionare. Look at all that money he saved by keeping the school kids out of the tours. I say give him time off for vacation with pay. But not pay for any of their vacations. If they want to fly off to some great spot let them pay for it them selves. That includes both partys. If they dont like camp David let them stay home. Not fly all over on our dime.

Are you actually comparing the Reagan's three trips to thier home, to the entire first family traveling the world?

Why is it different for this president than any other previous president?

I keep saying term limits for all judges and politicians; limit to a total of eight years service and no retirement or health care benefits after service.

...And no other public service positions or appointments of any kind. Sort of an incentive to make sure they did everything in their power to assure a healthy private sector!
