I have some snapshots that were scanned onto a CD some time ago, and I am trying to fix them so they show up on a Photo
Frame. What I want to do is separate 4 photos that were scanned at the same time into 4 separate photos. I try doing this in Picasa but I can never find the picture after I crop it. I do not understand how Picasa handles pics, I try saving them or exporting them to a folder but they don't show up. I am sure I am doing something stupid, I should know how to do this, but I can't get it done. Any suggestions?

I have some snapshots that were scanned onto a CD ... (

Export puts them in separate folder. The dialogue box will specify the path to where they are. Those folders may not be indexed by Picasa, depending on your settings.
Try putting them into a named 'album'.
It's the bluish icon at the bottom of the screen, next to the tray.
Albums show up in the finder on the left, above the folder list.
You have to make sure you hit the save button so Picasa will save the corrections/crop. A block should appear asking whether you want to save a copy or change the original. Then you have to export it to your regular file.
