I own a Sony Nex-5n and would like to shorten the time my LCD screen remains on between photos. Not as in Playback but shortening the time between photo taking. I'd greatly appreciate knowing if its possible. I cannot find anything in the manual or through searching online about decreasing the time the LCD screen remains on ... unless I'm not using the correct terminology in my searches.
Thank you.

You are talking about review time. Merely touch your shutter button and the camera will return to shooting mode. I have my review time set for 10 seconds to show others whose picture I have taken, but I constantly over-ride review by a light touch to the shutter.

If you talking about the length of time the display stays on after you have taken a photo before it switches off to save power go into the setup menu and scroll down to "Power Save". That's what I have for my Nex-7 so I'm guessing it will be the same for the 5n. Look in page 141 of your manual
1.MENU [Setup] [Power Save] desired setting.
Thanks for your reply. Actually it wasn't that time delay I was mentioning, it was more like the 'Live View' timeframe, but I solved the issue last night. I don't have the camera or manual in front of me now, but I was going through the menus last night and found the answer. I didn't know the correct term for what I was trying to do.
Thanks again for taking the time to reply.
Aren't you pleased with the sharpness of the photos? I'm very happy with my NEX 5n.
I also have the 5n; I love the sharpness on the screen, but when I D/L pictures to my PC, they don't look as great. I am betting I lose resolution when I transfer the images to in my Post-processing app; believe it or not, I still use Microsoft's Digital Image Suite, no longer on the market but real easy to use. I now have Photoshop Elements but need to learn how to use it. They have a tutorial but of course I don't bother with that.
BTW, I have a dozen repies to my post named "Hummingbirds". What I learned is just incredible. You guys rock!
