Hand held. I might just use this mode from now on. The camera was so easy to work with plus the stabilization was great. And all it'd take is a push of the movie button if I wanted to make a movie.

Thanks Jerry. I've had this camera about a year now and still find different ways to use it - usually better ways.

Thanks. Camera has great zoom capabilities - especially long distant shots.

Excellent set, awesome for handheld in the last one! With the SX50 I'm having to get a remote trigger to use the extreme zoom.

If I'd waited another month I'd have gotten the SX50 because of the remote capabilities - the SX40 doesn't have that. But......oh well. And I've found that in the movie mode is the best one for hand held shots in the digital range - beautiful stabilization there.
