I did ignore... Thanks for confirming. It came From: PayPal <jfield@lasell.edu> (info form message details).
This is the real Paypay:
Located in San Jose, California, PayPal was founded in 1998 and was acquired by eBay in 2002.

I too have received a few of these from PatPal. I dont know why. Ive nevered used PatPal, In my life. How did they get my EMail address?
I ignore any of those updates that I get via email.
I even tell my husband that Paypal will never send a link and request you to update any information. Those links are crooks trying to steal your information.
It's a scam. Have had a few of them.

Another way of knowing if it came from Paypal, they will always use your name when contacting you, Scamers do not know your name so a letter purporting to be from Paypal that does not use your name ia dead Giveaway, Letters to me from Paypal always use my name
I always follow this policy..when contacted online or by phone , call the company directly to verify. Many times I have been in this position but dodged the bullet.

Thanks to everyone for your advice. I also get scam mail asking me about Wells Fargo. I contacted Wells Fargo by phone that time.

You are joking right? Everything you do on line is out there. From the day you establish an e-mail, it is not sacred anymore.
