Thank you all for the kind comments. I had to sit for about 45 minutes to catch that shot. It was hand held so I was afraid it would not be sharp, but it's ok.

Thank you for the shot of Lanier. We lived in Cumming, GA from 2006 to 2010, most of which time LL was distressed because of the prolonged drought in that area. I have photos somewhere showing just how low the waterline had gotten.
It's good to see the Lake looking great again!

Glad to bring memories back for you Beowulf. When we moved to Cumming in 2011, the lake was extremely distressed, our dock was dry. What a difference this summer. At one time in May, the lake was over 3 feet above full and the picnic area at the Dam was flooded. We are now just a few inches above normal. The rainy days do produce beautiful sunsets!!
