I looked at the email about Lens Effects, but it doesn't really interest me. But, if you or anyone is on the fence about Topaz, the Adjust, Detail, B&W and DeNoise are all top notch. The download problems above seem likely to be computer set-up specific as you can visit the Topaz website to download the latest versions of their products and then you key-in your license key. The PhotoFXLab bundles the plug-ins together nicely for the jump between LR5 and the Topaz Suite.

I Like the PhotoFxLab for the reason I can Utilize multiple Presets on on copy of the picture without having to make a new copy when I add another filter

I am thinking about buying Topaz Lens Effects while it is on sale. I currently have PSE10 and will probably upgrade when 12 comes out. My question is...What happens to add-ons when you upgrade software? Thanks in advance...

Adobe figures it out and it works fine. I just upgraded my Lightroom and it immediately recognized Topaz and CS6.

Topaz doesn't commit to it but provides free upgrades. You might want to wait till they offer the package...I got it for 50%. If you attend one of their seminars they usually give you a 35% off coupon.

The upgrade to Windows 8 from Vista removes nearly all executables. That is the reason for the loss of the program and required download. AND Microsoft does a poor job of pointing that out up front. Having been a victim, I feel your pain. It does leave your other files and if you have downloaded any executable files I would suggest putting them in a zipped folder before doing the upgrade (I know, too late for you) On the bright side, I had great performance from W8 compared to Vista even with less than the required memory

Oh...upgrading the operating system is another matter.

Many programs simply wouldn't work with Windows 7...you had to buy a new program. Adobe Acrobat was one that really ticked me off.

Topaz, on the other hand, always gets great reviews on their customer service.

Freudian slip? Kind of fit...
