NEW CAMERA NEED HELP ON FILTER CHOICE

NEW PURCHASE CANON T3I 18-55 IS & 55-250MM LENS. NEW TO DSLR HAVE NO IDEA IF I SHOULD BUY FILTERS. IF SO IS THERE AN ALL AROUND FILTER OR SOULD I BUY SEVERAL .WOULD APPRECIATE SOME ADVICE..THANKS RON

A good all-around filter would be a Polorized High Definition Filter. It eliminates glare (i.e. off water ) but they are not cheap. I paid $96.00 for mine.

I hate to say this, but filters are a waste of money Unless you know how to use them. Maybe learn why you might need one for a specific type of photo before you buy one, if Needed. Polarizer and Neutral density types are the most useful, but they take learning to get your monies worth. Good filters cost $70 to $100 plus. When you buy one get the 77mm size and step up rings for all the different size lens you have. That way one filter will fit all your lens. My 2 cents worth.
