Mrs. Clinton has more brains in her little finger than most of us have in all of our heads put together. We could do WAY worse ... and have on many occasions.

Many of history's tyrannical monsters, dictators and serial killers were extremely intelligent.

So..... your point is???

And the real former underground President, Cheney, didn't; or the pretend President Bush didn't as well?

So, are you inferring that someone with the selective memory attributes of Bush or Cheney would make a fine President?

No, don't particularly care for the woman, though I recognize that she would be better prepared for the job than GWB was, given her senate and state dept. experience. I'll reserve judgment on the current administration until his last year to see what he will have accomplished. His main obstacle, Republican obstruction in Congress, is a violation of their sworn service to the citizens of this country. It took GWB eight full years to ruin the economy.

My main observation here is that the arch-conservatives who frequent the Chit-Chat section seem to rely solely on name-calling and specious fact slinging. It would be far more productive in this section to proffer political policies/opinions based on sound reasoning and factual credence.

I have noticed that there are some contributors that resort to name calling, however from my observations it's bipartisan.

Congress does not have an obligation to support the president, they have an obligation to support their constituents.

Also, George Bush had a Democrat dominant congress and indeed the economy suffered.

Bill Clinton had a republican dominant Congress and the Economy grew so much that we had a budget surplus.

Points taken, however, Gingrich aside, the GOP that Clinton worked with are pretty much extinct. He couldn't do it with Boehner's crowd today.
