I teach a photo group on using photography to express your feelings for those diagnosed with mental illnesses ( I suffer from severe chronic depression) This group is for the local mental health association. I have found that by using your creative side of the brain, it will keep depresion and anxiety in check.

I have on average 8 students and absolutely no budget. Need some point and shoot digitals, tripods, lighting for teaching portraits, books on photography, magazines, film cameras(i have some who want to shoot with film) anything will be greatefully apreciated and definetly used. thank you to all.

I have one student who shoots with his camera phone then draws what he shot with pastels and colored pencils. his work is fantastic
