Here is a macro photo of an old wooden ruler. I changed the resolution to 72 pixels / inch. It is taken with a Nikon D800, 1/25, f14, iso 1000, no flash. You can see the very small pit marks on it.

Looks like the Lufkin 72" fold out with brass inside dimension extender yes? Still use them every day in the shop.

Hi twillsol, I shoot canon and I use all Sigma glass, 10-20mm, 24-70mm, 70-200mm, 105mm(macro), 50-250mm, 70-300mm, 50-200mm. I thoroughly enjoy Sigma glass. Nice Shot!

Nice image but it would be more meaningful if you would produce an image of a test target that has crisp lines where the ink or paint do not bleed. Frankly, it appears from this image that the lens is a little soft when you drill down.

The Sigma 150mm f/2.8 macro lens takes very sharp pictures. I own this lens, and can recommend it. From what I gather, many macro shooters use this lens. I shot the white rose bunch using this lens several years ago.
