Has anyone tried one of these or made their own? Looks like it works as a bounce card. Comes in White & Silver reflector material. Has elastic band that wraps around the top of the flash.
Can only find them listed on China websites on ebay. Average price is $4.75 for the pair. Curious if anyone else pulled the plug?

Looks a bit like what I use- a Litegenius Light Scoop:

Would probably work fine.
It improves the photo by raising the light a bit higher than the flash alone and making the light bigger. With lower ceilings, there may be a slight bounce effect as well.

That setup allows a more directional bounce, where the ones I posted seem to spread the light out. Each one has it's merits. Thanks for posted this.

The lumiquest also does a more directional use of the light, rather than allowing the light to leak out to the sides of the reflector.
Thanks for posting as well.

I made this out of something called "craft sheet". Cost me less than a buck and took me less than 5 minutes to make. Works very well and can fit in a jacket pocket.

These are primarily used for providing a slight directional fill light for light bounced from the ceiling - which, incidentally also puts catchlights in the eyes of any people in the picture ( and reflections if they are wearing glasses)

Depends on how much crinckle you put in the foil and which side you use.....

Yes, you don't want those lines or shopping list showing up in the photo.
