My Grandson took second place in the National Junior 9-ball Pool Tournament in Las Vegas this past weekend. He played 8 games on Saturday and 50 on Sunday. Pretty grueling schedule.
The International Tournament in Johannesburg, South Africa is in December. Remains to be seen if he'll be going. Be kinda pricy.

Thanks for the comment, guys. Actually, two years ago, Tyler, my Grandson, played in the International Tournament in Poland. He came out of that one ranked 17th in the World. He was 16 years old.

KUDDOS to the lad.
I tried to pay pool, lots of soldiers loved to play. Funny though when ever I tried my stick was warped or something, Never could get the balls to roll where I wanted them. weird.
Kinda like golf I suppose, Someone asked me "What's your handicap" I said Talent@!

Wow! I know just how he feels. I was titly winks champ of my 1st grade class back in the 30s. But now I have to admit I put peanut butter on the other guys titlys.
