Thanks to all above for kind comments. I was lucky to have a very bright but overcast sky and the subject was in the buildings' shadow. Most of the credit goes to the pentax K5IIs which (when the light can be controlled) is an amazing tool for clarity and sharpness. -- has to do with absence of a "Anti-aliasing filter" but thats way too technical for me, I feel the results speak volumes, thanks again - ct ( trammellartworks.com)

CheryleT, what a fabulous set! It is not that often one gets to photograph the dancers alone like that. I would really like to see #1 converted to B&W, the comp reminds me very much of the Kolb Brothers work as well as those iconic images from Arizona Highways of the late 40s thru the 60's. Thanks for sharing.

I was not familiar with the work of the Kolb brothers but I will certainly explore their work. I do remember the Ariz. Hway photos and to be compared in any way is a special compliment. Thank you for your consideration. I will convert the Ist image to B and W and post at a later date. - ct
