Sarge69 - What are you trying to test here? It seems as though all three images are slightly different sizes as presented, so apparently the taking distance has been varied for each exposure. Plus, my understanding of the star test chart is that it is mainly useful for detecting astigmatism.

As for what can be deduced from the images, they all look reasonably sharp, in focus, and free from distortion.

Probably due to directions saying to completely unfocus images between shots from the Autofocus which was the first. Changed the focus distance a little. But your statement matches my assessment of the sharpness of the images. Thanks for taking the time to check and give me the word.

I do think that #'s 2 and 3 are sharper than the first. But I could be having a 'bad eye day'. lol

You might want to adjust the white balance and/or exposure compensation for this comparison. Since I imagine that you metered on the focus sheet, it rendered the white paper gray. Otherwise the three photos seem about equal.

Since it has been a couple of years since new glasses I think #3 looks the sharpest, maybe because it's zoomed the most...Norm
