emailing my pictures

How do I send my pictures to be included in the current contest? I have them stored in Picasa but I can't figure out how to send them to Ugly Hedgehog. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

If you have made any edits, make sure to Export them to a special folder so the correct image gets posted.

At this point I get very confused. I usually edit, then click the "email" button at the bottom of the Picasa program. Based on previous correspondence my understanding is the program saves the edits and sends my RAW photo by changing it to jpeg. If that is correct why go to the trouble of exporting to a special folder? All input will be appreciated.

Bob55, Picasas is like Los Vegas, what happens in Vagas Stays in Vegas, what you do in Picasa, As mentioned above, you have to Save As. Rename the file and put it where you can find it.

Picassa doesnt actually send the raw photo when you email from Picassa. It saves the edits and converts the images color space (if needed) to sRGB and then converts the image to jpg so that the image can viewed by almost everyone.
So when emailing an image Picassa does all the right things that need to happen automatically for you. When you want to upload to social media or UHH, you must be in charge of making these things happen. When editing in a raw editor such as Picassa none of your edits are solid until Picassa exports the image.
