If anyone knows of a review of a Pentax smc D AL
18mm - 55mm f3.5-5.6 kit lens, I would appreciate
hearing from you.
Thanks
Thanks. That certainly helps.
I used a Pentax *Ist-dl, I used an 18-55 kit lens almost exclusively to shoot landscapes, water falls, long exposure etc.
Great lens, gorgeous images, and that body had a puny 6 mp sensor.
When I moved o Canon gear I sold it to a newer shooter and she still uses the camera ( near 200,000 actuations now) and she bought an additional lens 70-200,
if you look at my early water fall, long exposure shots on this forum, you will see examples of what this little lens will do, click below

Pentax forum is the absolute best but they run buy a not so user friendly group - also the "regulars" are often out to criticize a bit more than needed but worth all the crap because the group is large and VERY well informed -c
Definately refer to the Pentax Forum. I still use a Pentax *ist DS with an 18-55 kit lens, after ten years. Love it!
