Canon FD/FL Adapter for Nikon

I'm not sure where I heard about them, but there are adapters now available for use of Canon FD & FL lenses with Nikon cameras.  After the death of an uncle in 1996, I inherited a Canon F-1 with several lenses:  Canon FD 50mm f/1.4; Canon FL 50mm f/1.8; Canon Zoom FD 70-150 f/4.5; Vivitar Auto Telephoto 135mm f/2.8;
Sigma Mini-Wide 28mm f/2.8; Bausch & Lomb Bushnell Automatic Zoom 100-300mm f/5.  All are manual focus lenses.

On 15 July 2013 I ordered a Canon FD Lens to Nikon Body Mount Adapter Ring Glass with Caps.  Price $25.90.  eBay seller: terence_camera (in China).  Received on 25 July 2013.  The adapter has glass in it.

I mounted the adapter to my Nikon D600, set the camera for each of the lenses.  I set the camera on manual.  I took some preliminary photos but the sun was beginning to set so I need daylight to check the slower lenses.

Has anyone else tried one of these adapters?

I never tryed one. But I knew they had them for the film cameras.Would be nice if they had them for both canon and nikon dig cameras. I guess that would be too much to ask.

Manual lenses don't change on a film or digital body- they were made way before autofocus.

I've seen those adapters on ebay recently. There seems to be two types: the cheaper ones that are unable to focus to infinity, and the more expensive ones that can.

Initially I was tempted to get one, as I have numerous FD lenses for my Canon film camera that I wouldn't mind using on my Nikon DSLR. But then I decided against it - I'll wait until I find out more about issues before spending money on the adapter .

Nikon FFD is greater than any canon mount FFD ( FL , FD and EF) . Using adapter with optic correction will degrade the IQ but can focus to infinity instead adapter with no optic only focus to close distance . There's a lot of legacy nikon lenses sell on ebay very cheap will fit to modern nikon DSLR without using adapter .

I know the lens dont change we were talking about adaptors to use canon lens on nikon or nikon lens on canon. I know that they can be attached but they wont talk to each other. everything would have to be manual. Sorry if I wasnt clear.
