No D600 manual!

I just bought a Nikon D600, but it came with no manual, just a jpg on CD. Is this normal? Do they not print manuals any more? I find the jpg tedious, and the D600 is a complex machine. I converted it for my Kindle, but it's somewhat screwed up.

Mine too! Does it have the Nikon USA warranty?

Mine came with a handbook as well. I would suggest that you go to Amazon (or your favourite bookseller) and search for guide books on the D600 as they can provide more 'user friendly' advice

I remember "Manuel and his Music of the Mountains". I think he was really Henry Mancini or some such!
Thank you all for replying. I'll sort it out.

Printed paper is expensive compared to burning a CD.
And, if you get the one online, it will have all the latest revisions.

Are you sure it is a JPG? Must be a mother of a picture file. If you look closer at the CD there is a PDF file of the manual. Not real hard to deal with. Print it or take it to Staples or some other print shop and get a hard copy. If it really is a JPG you're hooped.

Contact Nikon-if it was missing from the box when you bought it, they need to replace it.

Sorry about the JPG!! PDF is more like it. I have all the information, but I find it useful sometimes in manual form. Manuel may have taken it after all. "Que"??
