Walt Disney's new film called "Jet Black," the non-racist version of "Snow White," has been put on hold.

All of the 7 dwarfs: Dealer, Stealer, Mugger, Forger, Drive By, Pimp, and Wog have refused to sing "Hi Ho" because they say it offends black prostitutes.

They also say they have no intention of singing "It's off to work we go."

This has been reported to the administrator for removal. It is without a doubt the most vile, racist post I've ever read. But you have a black friend, I'm sure, so how could I possibly call you a racist. It's just a joke, so I should lighten up, right? Sorry, but this is just so far over the line as to be unfit for publication here.

No offence was meant here and I would point out that often it seems that the complaints do not come from the community being joked about.

I have heard some very funny coloured jokes from coloured people and it was only the non-coloured people who called the jokes racist!

Some of the funniest coloured jokes came from Charlie White - a Black comedian from Birmingham.

If I found this joke to be funny and said so you'd say thanks. I don't think it's funny and that opinion is just as valid. I'm not agreeing that it should be removed only that in MY OPINION is crosses the line and is offensive. I'm not in favor of censorship but I am a believer in the right to disagree with a post.

Hey, it's ok to refer to them as black. The term "coloured" does not pertain to one particular "color". This is coming directly from my moms home health care worker LaQuisha. (Not a joke, really!)

In future I must reject ageist jokes as a large number of people here are getting on in years.
I must reject jokes against women as a large number at UHH are women.
I must reject religious jokes.
I must reject Jewish jokes.
I must reject jokes against the government.
I must definitely reject any Irish jokes because so many Irish emigrated to America and UHH people may be descended from them
- pity because my Irish friend sends me some great Irish jokes.
I must reject all the other types of jokes I mentioned as any of these jokes could cause offence to the various areas of the community.

You don't have to reject anything and you can laugh at whatever you like. You are free to have whatever opinion you'd like to adopt.
