Oh, how that brings back memories of my father making my mom and I sit for portraits! Sure wish I had his old Mamiya!

As a pro sports photographer for over 25 years, this was my workhorse rig for NBA (65mm lens), and NHL (105mm lens) work.
Connected to my six overhead strobes, I could shoot trx 400 at f11 / 500sec. and chrome at f8 / 500sec with fabulous results.
Loved those cameras (3)

I think $400.00 is high from what I see online, B&H cleans some of them up before turning them loose. The online auctions go for anywhere starting at $200.00 up.

What people have listed, and what an item actually sells for can be two very different numbers. Seems a little high to me as well.

Here in New Zeland we have "Trade Me" our own "ebay" type operation. Rarely seen on trademe is a C330 the seller has a lot of lenses too. The auction closes tomorrow, may be of interest to watch. You have to be registered as a trader to have a way to see the results after the auction closed; I shall post the results here tomorrow night . http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=616546827 for the camera, and click on "sellers other listings" I hope this is of interest. ANdrew.

Here is a link to eBay's "sold" listings for the camera...B&H & others mark theirs up higher so they can make a buck..Better to see what they would offer you to buy it & then price it somewhere between that & what they are selling one for to get a better idea as to the value...

I used my Mamiya RB67 back in the 70's and loved it. Especially the feature where the film back would rotate. I had to sell it when I got a divorce and the judge ordered me to pay for her lawyer after she ran away to live in a treehouse with a drug dealer. Ha! Ha!

I still shoot 120/220 film (mostly Velvia) and prefer it over digital.

Oh how i remember this camera!!! i owned one, with 3 different lens's. What a workhorse it was. The longer the lens, the more you had to adjust for parallax. Then i acquired a Mamiya 1000s pro, slr, 645 format which i still have in my curio to show my grandson what we used to use "many years ago.." LOL.
