Your camera can not shoot raw. The highest quality is tiff. PP 101-102 in your manual.

Check your menu and see what you have it set on.
IF you have an owners manual that will be helpful, if not just look it up on the net and go from there.

Edit: on an old 4Mp would the Tiff not be as Raw as it got MMC??
