So, I got back into photography after many years away, didn't know if I'd like digital, so I got a Nikon D5100, LOVED being back, got another lens (Nikkor 55-200 zoom F4-5.6), got a spare battery, got some filters, got a Pelican case to hold it all, and then a friend let me borrow his D800e, and, well, the D5100 is now for sale along with all the stuff mentioned above. Less than 1000 shots on camera, literally like new (I take VERY good care of my camera stuff) no scratches, no dings, never in for warranty work, no 'stories' period, I would sell this camera to a family member.

But, I'm using my D800 for everything now, so I thought I would offer this camera to a fellow worthy UHH member at a fair price. If I were to buy this stuff new, all over again, I would be spending around $1,200-$1,300 bucks, but I realize that prices for the D5100 have come down somewhat since I bought mine, so, I'm thinking $600 for the whole kit is a fair price. If I'm wrong, I'm sure you'll let me know.

I'm in the Los Angeles area if anyone local is interested, I would be willing to come to you.

I love my 5100 and you are in the ballpark on pricing. Good luck with your sale.

Hi Rex, at this point, I'd really like to sell it all as a package as I think it makes it a much better deal for the eventual buyer. Thanks for your interest, though.

Howdy! Would you consider $425. I teach photography and need a back up... Thanks for our honesty. How refreshing! Smile www.cokerphoto.com

I've listed everything in the kit below, just so you know everything you would be getting.

I would consider $575, but at that price, you would have to pay for shipping to your location. As I was going through and listing everything in the kit, I'm starting to have 2nd thoughts about selling, it's such a nice camera, and really would make a wonderful back-up, so, because I did list it for sale, I will sell it to you at the $575 price, but if you don't want it at that price, no hard feelings, I think I'll keep it as a back-up for myself. So please let me know, I could have it on its way before the weekend, if you want it - but a counter offer at a lower price from you will only help me make up my mind to keep it. Fooey, that's what I get for really looking at it again and listing everything . . .

So let me list everything in the kit:

The D5100 camera body, of course, like new
1 18-55 f3.5-5.6 kit lens,
1 NIKO 52mm LMC-SKY filter,
1 Polaroid 52mm Circular PL filter,
1 Nikon Nikkor 55-200mm f 4.5-5.6 G lens,
1 Hoya HMC UV filter 52mm,
2 lens hoods,
1 soft pouch for lens,
1 battery charger,
1 Nikon ML-L3 remote shutter release,
1 52mm Polaroid fluorescent filter,
1 Poloroid 52mm UV filter,
1 Promaster 3-filter set for close ups - close-up+1, close-up+2, and close-up+4 screw-ins,
1 yellow Pelican 1060 micro case,
1 black Pelican 1500 series case with pull-and-pluck foam,
1 Blue Crane Digital quick field reference laminated card,
1 spare SanDisk Ultra 8GB memory card,
1 spare Nikon EN-EL 14 battery,
1 cokin 3.25" square filter holder (you would have to get the 52mm screw-in adaptor,
6 various 3.25" square cokin filters,
1 SanDisk Extreme Pro 16 GB memory card in the camera,
1 wrist strap,
1Nikon D5100 manual.

I tried to find how to check, but couldn't figure it out but I'm sure there are much less than 3,000 shutter actuations on the camera.
