RE: Is There A Manual Override For Low Light Photographs?

A few days ago I posted about low light photography and sunsets, asking if there was a manual override. Wall-E suggested turning off the auto focus. It worked! Tonight I was out shooting the sunset and I nailed every single one! Thanks, Wall-E!

I'm posting a photo fresh, from the camera. The horizon is a little off-kilter, I'll eventually correct it in pp. But I want to show an example of one of the three most spectacular sunsets we've hand in Manchester CT this spring and summer.

Again, thanks Wall-E. You nailed it!

Looks great except for the tilted horizon. Fix that and you have a winner.

I LIKE the tilt in the image. Adds a leading line.

Wall-E set me straight on the lens question--maybe I'll listen to him on the tilt situation.

I knew I would fix it in post processing.
