Here are my first picture posts. Pic 1 is from the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. Pic 2 is off the Ocean Pkwy (Long Island, NY) and Pic 3 is from Caleb State Park, also Long Island. Feel free to comment and critique.

Our 6 yr old grandson and I were looking at these and he really liked #3. He asked what the white thing was in #2 and I told him a boat. Doing good IMHO, keep up the good work - look forward to more of your posts.

My favorite is the first one. Very well done composition, focus and colors and the reflection really makes the shot!

I like the composition and the reflection in photo 1. I also like the composition and also the clouds in photo 2. Photo 3 I like with the vivide and bright colors. The reflection of the colors show up well on the water. Nice shots Bmac.

I like them all, but #1 caught my attention. I just wish the reflection in the water hadn't been cropped.

I like your pictures; however, you have the same problem as I do on many of the fall scenes. The last picture has a very bright tree on the left that the focus or color affects the definition of the leaves on the tree. They come out as a blob of color instead as having the individual leaves show when you blow up the image. If anyone has a method to solve this problem, I think it would be a help to many photographers.

I would vote for 1 and 3---really nice. Are the clouds in 2 natural or enhanced. Should have kept tje reflection in 1.In any case--overall--WOW !

Thanks, when I was a kid our family used to swim at Rockaway Beach. There was an amusment park there also, with bumper cars.
