I am a novice photographer, I have a nikon d60, going to be going on a cruise in 15 days and having a problem figuring what to set my camera on for night shots, please help.


Going on a
Disney cruise and going to have fireworks, can you help me for setting on that.

If you use flash on a cruise deck at night, you will not see things in the background. You may want to avoid using flash.

When you walk out on deck the temperature will more than likely be warmer, causing condensation to form on the lens. Allow time on deck for your lens to adjust to the temperature.

Most ships will publish the times of sunrise and sunsets. get out about 10 or 15 minutes before hand for the best shots.

Try f13 (or so), ISO 100, Bulb for the shutter speed. Oh yeah, use a tripod.
