I was about to hop in my car, parked next to a bunch of my wife's giant sunflowers, when I spotted this little fella checking out one of the 6-7 foot tall, 10-12" diameter monsters. I pulled out my cell phone from my shirt pocket and shot this.
This is completely original - no cropping, WB or color modification, nothing. I think this goes a ways to settle the argument of whether one needs expensive equipment to take a decent shot.
The phone is a Casio Commando with a 5mp camera, and the shot was more or less blindly taken almost directly into the sun about an hour ago.
giant sunflower and honeybee
A "B" in a line & a sunflower in the sun:)=honey sweet!Nice job:)

Yeah, I suppose. 'Cept it wouldn't fit in my shirt pocket for a quick trip to the market. And we scarcely have honeybees here in this dusty northern Nevada. Hadn't seen a single one for years, but this year I've seen a half dozen or so.
I know the shot's not perfect, but it's not a bad shot, especially considering the circumstances.

It is a good shot, don't know if you had much time to think about composition but it worked out very well! Cheers, Rob.
