President Obama made a speech this morning about the new healthcare plan. One of the things he dwelled on was that lots of people are getting rebates on their premiums; usually around $100 a year.
Quick survey: Have you, or anyone you know, received a rebate yet? Just a simple "Yes" or "No" will suffice.

NO. Today I got a medication from my EENT Doctor for acid reflux I don't have, and it was $150.00 HOLY SHEEEEET. I ain't paid that much for medicine in 20 years.

I'm disappointed. Obama was so positive about this rebate thing today. He had a large group of smiling, happy people on the stage behind him. I thought sure we'd have at least a few recipients who would sing his praises.
So far, out of 70 total viewers, only a few have responded, and all have said "No."
Surely he wasn't just making it up. Was he?
Maybe our checks are still in the mail. Or maybe sequester has slowed them down for a few days.

No, but my Health care went up +25% and have less coverage. Tuff on Seniors!

Since it is indeed a rare thing for Obama to ever speak straight and truthfully the chances of him ever telling the truth is remote. You can count on that far more than his promises.

I have to report that I DID get a rebate recently. $176.00 to be exact. My insurance is through Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. More importantly, the check cleared the bank. LOL.
