Hi all,

This is my son and he does not like to be a model very much and he really hates it when it is 98 degrees outside.

I wanted to do some work with the flash and play with the exposure comp. both in flash and camera and see what I would get.

I got a few good ones but I really liked how this one turned out and would like to see what others thought good or bad.

Thanks in advance

It is an awesome shot. The back ground is just perfect! I would have like to see his feet, but that is just me.:) But a wonderful job with the flash!!

NIce shot there , I bet that was shot in a Pecan grove of about 80-100 trees and given time I'll get to finish brush hogging it , seems never enuff time and always 1 more thing to do , maybe I'll get to finish it before its time to start cutting the corn fields there .
Ya see someone running round on a ol john deere with a brush hog or running around there on a lil green gator wearing a doorag that will be me , holler at me and say hi .

Thanks his feet where in there but had to crop out because the flash did not spill onto his feet and I only took one flash. This was straight out of camera other than the crop.

Terrific picture - nice moody light. Ordinarily I would suggest cropping it vertically but the vegetation on the left negates that and really adds something extra to the overall composition. I like the mood of it and I'm sure your son will look back on that picture with fond memories when he's older.

Thank you, just playing with the flash gun trying some different stuff, I still think it is just a tad bit to flashy but I liked it. When it cools off a bit am going to try it with 2 flashes and see what I can come up with.
