Hello from Vero Beach Florida (God's little assistant living center) I am new to this site but not to photography. I started out at 7 with a kodak instamatic then graduated to a Nikon F which dad had given me. He was a professional photographer for Ferris State University (go bulldogs) in Michigan. What he didnt teach me I learned from popphoto, books and trial and error. I have pretty ecelectic taste ranging from abstracts, classic cars, reflections collapsing buildings and flowers. Lately I have been focusing on looking down subjects on the ground that get ignored. For example potholes, cracks in sidewalks, pavement markings etc. I have been greatly influenced and challenged by the book "learning to see creatively" by bryan Peterson. I highly recomend all his books.
I also am new to this site. Too; I have been enjoying photography for decades, but in my case no real direction and focus. Anything I have learned has been mostly by accident. The one thing that I have enjoyed most about photo sharing sites is seeing the perspectives of others - how they see the world. I enjoyed see what you have posted and will be hanging around to see what else you do. Have added a few of mine. Welcome.

Thank you for comenting. You are right you can have the same scene and three different photographers will see it in three different ways. I like your work too. I like the grainy feel of number 1 and the patterns and geometric shape of #2
