I need some help to set up a web site to sell sports pictures that I take. I take these of my daughter and her team mates. Everyone is always asking me to buy prints but I have no where to show them the pictures that I take during the tournaments. I am going to show them in jALBUM but I need to create a web site. I was wondering what sites some of you all use. I would like to use a cheap but good one that is easy to set up and maintain. I don't know a thing about setting one up so ANY help would be greatly appreciated and please "dummy up" your info for me so I can understand the technical part. My husband says I'm sometimes technically challenged when it comes to setting things up on then computer. lol Thanks for any help.

Try Zenfolio. You have a Photographers page which can be used for your web page and an esale site to sell your images. The cost is relatively low, $100 per year.

You might check out Weebly.com.

You can set up your own site quite easily. There are several pricing options; the best being to buy your own domain name from a registrar like 1and1.com or godaddy.com ($7 - $20 a year) The hosting of the site is free, with the ability to have e-commerce purchases made.

I use smugmug for $40. a year. They will help with any thing you should need. I paid $250. a year for what you are wanting. I was going to have one make at cost of $1000. What you need to do is get a domaine name at godaddy.com (the name you want to use, always use .com). Get a smugmug account, play around with it like you want, you have cart to sell. When posting you pictures use key words like St. Mary's baseball game. This is so search engines can pick it up. I paid $15. a month for me to be #1 on google. But all you doing is selling in your area, get business card and start passing them out. GOOD LUCK
