Thank you! I used a tripod, Canon 50D, 24-105mm lens, and stacked UV and polarizing filters...of course the polarizer did nothing aimed at the sun.

nicely done, Tom... that one needs to be printed large and framed! most folks shoot Haystack, forgetting that The Needles offer some great compositions as well!
