The Budweiser advertising company has always made some very emotionally charged adverts. The one you mentioned is one of them. The other was the Budweiser team taking a bow toward the location of where the Twin Towers used to be. That was shown on the Super Bowl in 2002.

Funny story though, I was having a Guinness at a local pub and a Budweiser rep sat next to me. I turned to him and said, "I used to drink Budweiser all the time".
He asked me why I quit drinking Bud.
I told him, "I quit drinking Bud when i hear one of the horses had a kidney infection".
He almost fell off the chair.
