There may be an adapter out there, but it would have to have glass in it to achieve infinity focus. That said, it likely wouldn't be worth the time & trouble...You would lose AF & likely metering as well. Plus even if you were still able to meter, it would likely be the old "stop down " method where after you focus & compose, then you would have to turn the aperture ring (provided they have one) until the meter would align....Not a very user friendly scenario...That said, I don't shoot with either system so I could be wrong, but I don't think so...( I do have older manual focus Pentax & Minolta gear though)

I am just wishing i guess. The Pentax k30 kit that i am looking at has a 18-50 & 50-300. But some reviews that the lens have a plastic ring that would attach to the body.

The plastic mount works well I have 2 different kit lens that came with my Pentax K-m and K-x and they have held up since 2010 on the K-m and 2011 on the K-x. A lot of kit lens have plastic mounts that is just one of the ways they save money. Both of the kit lens you mentioned the DAL 18-55 and the DAL 55-300 do a pretty good job.

Thanks for your help.

The DA* lenses are Pentax's top of the line lenses. Although some people may argue that both the FA Limited and DA Limited lenses are their best ones.
