I am looking for other email program, that I can send several large photos in one email and they arrive open, just like Microsoft Outlook. Are there other programs that will do this.

Raymond, I'm not sure what you are going for. With MS Outlook, I can embed the photo into the text of the message, or I can "attach" the image to the message before I send it. If I embed it, when the recipient opens the message, they see the photo in the message. If I attach it, they must double-click the attached file before it opens.

Either way, I gave up sending more than one photo at a time through email. The ability to send "several large photos" in a message is regulated by the internet service providers, not the email client you use. For example, I know AOL imposes a very strict limit on message size. If you load that message up with a bunch of photos, you will be over that size limitation imposed by AOL and they simply refuse to send your message. They aren't the only ISP that does that, so I'm not picking on them.

There are many ways to share your photos, and just about all of them are better than sending them by email. Personally, I use DropBox. I drop photos into a folder in my DropBox, then email a link to them. Much easier.

I agree with the other posters here.
I use Gmail, but I use it with Outlook 2007 so I get the best of both worlds. I also port all my other email addresses through Gmail because they do a better job of spam protection and antivirus.

Bruce, I too use dropbox. In my case I have all my family contacts in the UK set up dropboxes at their end so all I do is drop the photos into their folder at my end and they then appear at their end. Most simple program I have ever used. For Free dropbox has a limit of 2 gigs but that is a lot of photos. I have at times sent up to 1 gig of photos at a time and dropbox goes smartly to work.

John.

I often have to prepare advertising containing both text and photos, to send it through in a format that everyone can read and that doesn't kick up a fuss, I convert them to PDF.
With pictures I have found the easiest way to send them is to use Gmail, and send them using my Gmail account. This is done directly from Picasa, which I use as my photo catalog. It is much faster than the common method of attachment that I sometime use.
