I have found the local honey hole for these guys.. All located on fence post near out buildings that are under night lights. I'm finding these two ingredients are essential in locating large numbers of jumpers. Man made structures with night lights. My last honey hole was located at a little marina also man made structures with night lights

Thanks Allen, I nailed 50% Plus at 2:1 today after work. Didn't take long to get rusty, at least not for me, practice, practice and then a little more.

One would think the technique would become "muscle memory"-- but it's really easy to get rusty-- or make stupid mistakes that embarrass the heck out of me-- but I just tell on myself and keep going.

Occasionally, I bracket shots for HDR. So several weeks ago, I'm out with the macro rig and just cannot get the exposure right. You guessed it: I left the auto bracketing set for 5 shots from a previous outing... so each shot was one stop different and I kept trying to compensate.....

I can relate oh so easy.. I'm in NY ready to shot fireworks, I see a young guy struggling so I help him get set up, has a nikon also and first time shooter of fireworks. I got maybe 10 minutes before the show starts, so I take a few test shoots, but my shutter closes way to fast, in a split second. I check and make sure shutter speed priority, ISO 100 and 10 second shutter speed, try again, same thing happens. Now I'm getting nervous, I change to 30 second shutter speed, same thing happens, too fast shutter, zero exposure, now show is ready to start, Take out battery, and replace, take out card and replace, now hit both green buttons on camera to reset.. Try again, same thing Happens, now I'm freaking.. Take a deep breath and I just start spinning the shutter speed dial.. Guess what I was in the 1/10th second, 1/30th second for exposure.. not a full 10 seconds.. What a dumb ass.. I only miss one fire work shot, it was that close.. So yeah I can relate.
