Help with Identification please

Can any one help with this bird please. It seemed to be a wader with no wings but was a brave little thing as it did not run away and let me get some pictures. I think it may belong to a millet eating breed. Any ideas on names would be most welcome. :)

I just sent the picture to the National Audubon Society, they said it was the Mammoth Weedpiper.

It belongs to the family of Sasaugeous Herbaceous. It was considered extinct until your find. :)

very old and tired looking kiwi. Might even have bird mange.

It really is the strangest looking bird I have seen. Don't think we have any of them in Florida, at least I hope not.

Looks to me like the 3rd Cousin twice removed of the Oomeedoodle bird, Usually found running around in Patches of Prickly Cactus emitting the Haunting Cry of "Oomeedoodle Oomeedoodle" :lol: :lol: :lol:

It is an ave-nanaval herbaceous known for growing it's own feed. Glad you found it! Please let us know what their flyway's are so more of the UHH members can be on the look out!

It's a Nanavalus mickeytakeyous. A very rare species. It is rumoured that if any sees one they will become the next President of OOHmegooleyland. :lol: :lol: :thumbup: :thumbup:
