"if you point that at me one more time..... I know fake a smile they go away happy" I got that look a lot from my two young un's (older now) what am I saying they still give me that look when I get the camera out now... Great shot Trista   any type of expression is a winner.
No-one that pretty has a bad hair day!
What's wrong with her hair? Looks typical for a girl of her age.
It good that you did not allow catch lights in the glasses.
It will go perfectly in her wedding video.
Very nice photo Trista, I especially like your pp.
Michael :-D :-D
So cute! I love how the color of her glasses bring out the pink in her shirt. She looks like she's a great subject to shoot. As she gets older, she probably won't like to get her picture taken, so take as many as you can now. She's adorable!

I LIKE the wild hair!!! It ads a level of reality ... life as it is ... to a photo she's going to cherish all of her life!

Wow! Great shot. What I think we are all trying to do with our people photography is to have our photos tell a story about our subject in such a way that the viewer knows something about the subject, even though they have never met. You have accomplished that in spades. Not only is she an adorable young girl, you have managed to capture that, but also told us something about her that goes way beyond the surface.

I think you've captured a beautiful portrait. A lot of personality comes through. Well done.
