My new SX50 has arrived!

I could say that the house is leaning but it was really me!

I just received my new Canon SX50HS yesterday afternoon and have been giving it a test run. I love it! I think I'll just leave my heavy old D7000 at home! Here are a couple of test shots. The red roses are 3 blocks away and the other flowers in our garden. This is a keeper!

Beautiful flowers, Fezz. You'll love that camera. So what if your house leans a bit--it will make the rain run off the roof faster, lol. JR1 would be bored if he didn't have a 'crooked' picture to criticize, haha.

Fezz & everyone else with the SX50: Turn on your camera, press menu, scroll right to the wrench and hammer icon, press func set, scroll down the next list almost to the bottom, till you have electronic level then press func set. Follow the prompts to calibrate the level You will then have a electronic level on the screen.

That is one nice feature I really like about my SX50

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the info. That crooked picture I took was my very first with the new camera and at 50X and I was so excited that all I was doing was looking at the roses. I later did discover that my camera was already set to show the leveling tool. I had post corrected the problem but when I was attaching them to UHH I picked the wrong picture and missed the post picture. I am having a ball with this little beauty!
