A neighbor called me at 6:38 this morning and asked if I wanted to take some pictures of a small fawn in her backyard. I was there within 5 minuets and proceeded to take pictures keeping my distance with a telephoto lens. I didn't want to stress the poor little thing. I hope you enjoy as much as I did taking them. This one can't be more than a few days old maybe a week or so.

Do as I say not as I do, Mothers.

This is a young one as the others are tagging along with their moms already.

Used a telephoto 270mm not to get to close.

That close-up with the 270 is tack sharp (and the little bugger is cute too). Nice work.

Great set Greg. That last shot is most excellent. The little on surrounded by green. Awesome

Thank you Steve M, when I first walked into my neighbors backyard I couldn't believe how small the fawn was. Usually they are born in May to Early June so this one was a month later than most of the fawns in the area.

Thank you datsmar and yes I should have circled it BURTB. so others would pick it up right away. As soon as I downloaded the pics I saw that and laughed. So it isn't smell that attracts mosquitos it is body heat as the fawns are not supposed to have sent.
